FOR GALLATIN VALLEY HOMEOWNERS

Winterize Your Sprinklers.

Water left in your sprinkler lines over a Montana winter can crack pipes, valves and your backflow preventer. Already had a frost? It’s usually not too late, but every cold night raises the odds.

PRICING STARTS AT

$75

for up to 4 zones. Additional $10 per zone after that.

WHAT YOU GET

Every zone cleared, backflow drained, controller set for winter.

WHAT YOU SKIP

Cracked valves, spring leaks and a repair bill far bigger than $75.

WHY THIS MATTERS FOR YOUR YARD

Montana Winters Crack What's Left In The Lines

Water that sits in your sprinkler lines over winter freezes and expands. That can split pipes, crack valves and ruin a backflow preventer, and you usually don't find out until you turn the system on in spring and the yard floods.

A blowout uses compressed air to push every drop out of every zone. Our crew does it the way we'd want it done at our own houses: zone by zone, at the right pressure, with the backflow drained and the controller set for winter.

New to Montana winters? This is the one fall chore you can't skip.

WHY GVSS

Done right. On the day we said.

Anybody with a compressor can call it a blowout. Here’s what’s different about ours, and why it matters once the snow melts.

THE WORK

ZONE BY ZONE, NOT A QUICK BLAST

A rushed blowout leaves water sitting in the low spots, and that’s the water that freezes. Too much pressure is just as bad. It can damage heads, fittings and valves, and you won’t know until spring. Either way, you end up paying for the job twice.

Our crew runs each zone one at a time at the right pressure until it’s clear, then drains the backflow and sets your controller for winter.

THE COMPANY

A LOCAL CREW YOU CAN CALL BACK

GVSS is a Gallatin Valley landscaping company, not a truck that shows up in October and disappears in November. We work on properties here all year, so we know how these systems are built and where they fail.

You get a confirmed day by email, a crew that shows up on it, and a phone that gets answered if anything looks off in the spring.

HOW IT WORKS

Three Steps. Two Minutes.

01

Pick your size

Choose based on how many zones your system has. Not sure? Count the stations on your controller.

02

Choose a window

Tell us when works best. We’ll confirm your day by email before the crew heads out.

03

Pay online

Pay securely now. Add an extra gift for the mission if you’d like. Totally optional.

03

We blow it out

You don’t need to be home as long as we can reach your controller and backflow.

Why We Are Doing This

Water that sits in your sprinkler lines over winter freezes and expands. That can split pipes, crack valves and ruin a backflow preventer, and you usually don't find out until you turn the system on in spring and the yard floods.

A blowout uses compressed air to push every drop out of every zone. Our crew does it the way we'd want it done at our own houses: zone by zone, at the right pressure, with the backflow drained and the controller set for winter.

You were going to pay someone to do this. This year, let it do some good.

A NOTE FROM THE OWNER

Why Book With Us

I'll be honest: a sprinkler blowout isn't complicated, and plenty of people around here will do one. What's hard is finding someone who shows up on the day they said, takes the time to clear every zone, and picks up the phone if something's wrong in the spring. As far as I'm concerned, that's the whole job.

We live and work in this valley, and our name is on the truck. If we blow out your system, we want you turning it on in May without a second thought. No pressure, and thanks for considering us.

QUESTIONS

Good To Know

No, as long as we can get to your sprinkler controller and your backflow preventer. If the controller is inside your garage or house, choose "I'll be home" and we'll coordinate a time with you.

We blow out every zone with compressed air, drain and protect the backflow, and set your controller to winter mode. If we spot a broken head or a leak, we'll let you know. We won't do any repair work without your OK.

How do I know how many zones I have?

Look at your sprinkler controller. Each numbered station is usually one zone. If you can't tell, pick the size you think fits and we'll sort it out on site.

Bozeman, Belgrade, Four Corners, and Gallatin Gateway. Outside that? Call us and ask.

We watch the forecast and move booked customers up the schedule when a hard freeze is coming. If we need to change your day, we'll tell you first.
